(19/04/2009)

We've just started an experimental feature project tentatively titled 'the freedom project' as a means of exploring themes and tying together story threads using the theme. We filmed the first scene recently and you can watch the rough cut of the first scene down below - the scene doesn't have any color correction or audio post on it, so it looks and sounds pretty raw. Credits: Actors - Elizabeth McGlinn and Andrew Munro; Camera: Lance Wordsworth and Benji Dalton; Sound/Directing/Script: Amit Tripuraneni. Music: Cowboy X

ROUGH CUT - Frank & Anne ['the freedom project']

We've also recently made a music video for Sora Shima and it was a fun experience. The music video was shot on a Canon 400D stills camera and the rough cut was done in Quick Time Pro before fine tuning and finishing it off in FCP.  Credits: Cinematographer/Editor/Co-director - Benji Dalton; Actor - Claire Van Beek; Producer/Co-director - Amit Tripuraneni. Below is the music video, hope you enjoy it.

REVIEWS for 'MEMORIES OF TOMORROW'

REVIEWS for 'FIVE'

Information which might help you understand our craziness a little bit better (maybe!!!):

Amit Tripuraneni and Lance Wordsworth bumped into each other while studying at South Seas Film and Television School in Auckland, New Zealand. They found a passion for trying out whacky things, experimenting with story telling and just going ape shit discovering the charms of film making. The process was aided by other crazy classmates like Benji Dalton, who was a shade crazier than both Amit and Lance combined.

Lance and Amit formed the company, Unkreative Artists Ltd. in August 2005 with the aim of creating a home for independent film in New Zealand, where passion for the medium drives the feature length projects. The website is the base for highlighting those crazy film efforts being made by Amit Tripuraneni and Lance Wordsworth and other unkreative maniacs.
