Coincidences

Yesterday was just freaky in terms of coincidences - I was taking an intro course when I recieved a call on my cellphone from some number in wellington. I picked up the phone and it was a lady from wellington who had seen my website. She told me that her son had the same name as me and surprisngly, her name is same as mom's...what are the chances of that happening? I got an email from her later that evening and her grandfather is from the same village as dad and grandparents -so i am assuming that they are somehow related to us.. phew...i thought such weird coincidences would happen only in movies.

Sunday was fun when Lance invited benji and me to the Santa Parade in downtown auckland. Since he is working at Studio 2, we got to sit in the back of the limo and squirt kids sitting on the streets - it was great fun...the sad part was that the water gun i had was faulty and i couldn't squirt as much water as i wanted :D. Before the Santa Parade and after the santa parade, most of the time was spent playing fuzzball with lance, nicola and benji and got hurt knuckles from banging against the side of the table. It was so much fun though.The day was so exhuasting and the traffic was so bad that we had to postpone filming our interviews for the UK website till later - might do it sometime this week.

The movie is coming along nicely and Benji is doing a great job on sticking to it and cutting it. I think we are still on target to get atleast a rough cut ready by mid december. Then we can start fine cutting it and doing other stuff which are equally important for the movie. Might do a couple of scenes which would definitely add to the whole movie.

Matt composed an excellent poster template which I am using to make more posters so that we can put them up at Britomart. It looks easy but it is such a time consuming job. I think i will make about 10 of them and then duplicate them to put on the walls.

Today I went in for the medical tests for the immigration and stuff. I will get the results and finish off the forms by next monday and will hopefully put the papers in by December 10th. That will give enough time for the immigration to sort things out. Keeping fingers crossed on that.

Anyway, will keep you updated on the latest..
