Headaches and coincidence

I am writing this blog with a heavy headache -how I got it? well -a day full of meetings. NZQA, assessments, course modules, unit standards - my head is all muddled up and it stated aching half way through the day. And then the whole series of viewing the onlines for approval to lay back onto tape and then sorting out a couple of small edting jobs which came up. And then returning to the series of meetings and then more meetings and then meeting with rachel and richard for the movie. I feel drained.

And the weirdest of coincidences happened - I was tossing in my head whether to go to the birkenhead shopping mall or stick to the northcote shopping complex to get myself a bottle of choclate milk. I decided for Northcote complex which is closer to my house and when I drove over and parked my car - I saw Alex Jiang, one of the chinese students this year there. He was kind of restless and when I walked up to him he told me that he had locked his keys in the car. Well- to cut a long story short - we got it sorted out in face of odds like all shops being closed and not having an AA membership to sort us out. I rang up AA though and the lady there was really helpful and refered us to an independent mechanic because AA can not attend to non-member calls. So yeah what a coincidence that I ended up in northcote when i usually never go to that shopping mall.

Tomorrow is another day of long meetings. I am not really a stickler for long meetings. They are essential for communication but sometimes they can really drain you out. I am looking forward to this weekend's filming. It would be fantastic, especially since Lance has got an underwater housing case for his camera -which means we can do some cool underwater shots.

Anyway peace out while I recuperate for tomorrow's set of meetings.

Cheers,
amit
