Last Stretch

Finally back to the last stretch of shooting for the movie. Another 2 days of shooting was originally scheduled but have added a couple of extra scenes to add more depth to the character which would mean an additional 2 days of shooting. it also means arranging for extra locations. I have been trying to get an art gallery for a week now and I think I might be close, one of them is considering it. It is really hard especially with art galleries busy during the weekends - keeping my fingers crossed for that. The great thing today was getting one of the extra locations confirmed - it is castle rock adventures who have agreed for us to film there on sunday, so thats a big hurray. I am excited about filming there on location.

School is going great as usual, tomorrow and day after tomorrow is gonna be a day of meetings. Roger from TVNZpopped in yesterday to give the forms for internship. It was nice catching up with him.

Yesterday night, had a long email discussion with Ayyaz, Brett and Benji regarding how the music scoring and composition will take place for over the movie and how we would co-ordinate -it is definitely a challenge because ayyaz is in canada while Brett is in Dunedin. And we are editing the movie here in Auckland. and I want to use temp music which benji creates so that we can start getting a visual tempo and an idea of how the movie will pace out. But then there is always the fear that I might stick to the temp music incase I don't get what I want. So had an open discussion to make sure that all of us were on the same page. It is exciting seeing the movie coming together.

Anyway have a meeting with Lance coming up soon, so that we can discuss the remaining part of the filming. Will update you later.
