Memories Of Tomorrow

I don't know if I mentioned it earlier but I am sticking with 'Memories of Tomorrow' as the title for the movie - moving away from '41/174' because the recall value of the latest title is much better than the numerical one.

The photo shoot at Britomart was fantastic...had some awesome shots. Now have to go about compiling them, so that we can put production photos and stuff up for public display. Some of the photos we took at Britomart are down below.

After doing the photo shoot, Lance and I came back to the school, where Benji is digitizing the footage of the film to edit. The school will be the base of editing operations and it is kind of Gerben to allow us the use of a room, where we have setup the Precision M60 and the external hard drive. Had a couple of pizzas and a couple of beers at the end of the day and discussed what the movie would be like. I am really excited about the editing process. Things are going great at the film school. More online approvals and more meetings.I am excited about the meeting I am having with some people from TVNZ on Monday and showing them around the school to show what we are doing to train the graduates and how we are making a shift towards non tape based systems. But more on that later.

This year's editors have been fantastic -they have kept the post production facilities running and buzzing all through term-4 which is great and best of all the team work has been fantastic. And I have learnt a lot from what they are doing and stuff which I think is another good things about the school -it is a two way learning process.

We will be having an editors meeting and get together tomorrow evening at a some pub in Takapuna...I am looking forward to it because it will probably be one of the last get together for this years editors. It always is sad when it comes to this point of the year because you know the students so well by this time that they no longer remain students and they do become your friends. Anyway will stop this post on that thought and wander over to the edit suites to check the happenings.
