Aaaaaaaaah

Well...strange title for a blog isn't it? Mixed happenings - one of the most frustrating things today was being told that our story is not good enough to make the news {and thats by all the 3 major TV stations - one of them saw the movie -liked it but would rather do a story on the festival itself than our movie}.... i can't express how frustrating and agonizing it is to be rejected... but thats the bad..

on a positive note - another review of the movie has come out on Varsity.co.nz and it has been written by Deborah Mudie and it is again a positive review- which is definitely a good thing. You can check out the review HERE

In another positive step - Paula helped me out by following up on the chances to get the story printed in Herald, the national newspaper and her persuasive skills got Scott to ring me up and do an interview - which means the movie will get some more coverage.

Other than that, got the pamphlets printed and picked them up and dropped them off at Rialto, Academy and Bridgeway - it seems so little as almost all of them are gone just like that {and talking to the theatres, they will hardly last 2 days}..wish we had more money for promotion but oh well...maybe with the next one.

Body is aching a little bit with the extensively revamped exercise schedule at the gym. Plus the inability to get our story on TV is definitely weighing in on my mind and am feeling tired. Will sleep over my disappointment - who knows what tomorrow brings, I am certainly hopeful that something good will come out of this.

Enjoy the pics from Sunday's fun exercise at Tessa's place {thanks to Angelique for the photos}

Cheers,

{P.S - incase you didn't get the name Dr. Kumara Singh - Kumara is a sweet potato and thats what the name comes from. He is a sweet potato stuck on a chop stick with a turban on his head. Dr. Kumara Swami is an expert on philosophy and time.}
