The Dark Knight

Has been a really productive day - I read 3 Batman Comics series: 'Batman: Year One'; 'The Dark Knight Returns' and 'The Dark Knight Strikes Again' - and all of them were mind blowingly good. 'Batman: Year One' was an origin story and is dark but not darker and edgier than 'The Dark Knight Returns' - which is most probably one of the best Batman comics I have ever read. "DK Strikes Again" was a sequel to "Returns" and does get interesting but at the same time is also more complex and there were a couple of pages where there was information overload.

Lost the netball game again but it was a good game again : 34-27 was the final score. We lost ground in 1st half and it took the other half catching up but it wasn't enough. Maybe next time. Our team is now getting in synch with each other - which is always a good thing.

Watched 'Ong Bak' at Rialto and man it was a bad movie...the only good thing about the movie was the martial art fights - the rest of it was a shocker - bad music, cliched story, bad editing and some really ridiculous onscreen moments. I don't understand what the hype was about. Wanna see some really cool fight sequences go for it..otherwise save yourself the money.

Another interesting week coming up ahead - including the media launch for the festival. Off for now. Feeling really really sleepy.
