Layer Cake
The movie 'Layer Cake' was alright...it was definitely a really complex and dense directorial debut for Matthew Vaughn - who had earlier produced 'Lock, Stock..' and 'Snatch'.. The best thing about the movie was Daniel Craig - he does take you on a ride. There were glimpses of him being to pull off a future 'Bond' role if he gets the role but it will be a hard sell. Overall an alright experience - the bad film print did not help the matters. Also caught 'Star Wars: Clone Wars' on Cartoon Network - it was awesome. Got to watch both the parts and it nicely leads up to 'Revenge of the Sith'...I think the series was way better than both 'Phanton Menace' and 'Attack of the Clones'... If you watch SW3 and can't understand some of the story points, I would highly recommend that you watch 'Clone Wars'.
At netball we got a walkover as the other team did not turn up but we still played a team which constituted some awesome players and we lost 25-20. After the game finished, was just getting packed up to leave when the next game started and one of the teams was 1 player short and I jumped in...played half the game and it was awesome. So how do I feel right now? Tired....
It is pouring outside -first time it has rained so hard in almost a couple of months. The best part was seeing the rain pour across the harbour bridge as I was driving back home. It was one of the coolest things I have seen in a while - pity that you can't stop on the Harbour Bridge to take a photo....Anyway - am off for now - the other thought process about arts and commerce will take a lot more time and energy, which I don't have right now.
Bye for now,
Amit
