Beginnings

'Batman Begins' was an awesome experience- i would rate it the highest amongst all the Batman movies till now. And watching it on the megascreen was fantastic - the sound design was mind blowingly good. Especially the sound on the Batmobile simply has to be heard to be felt. It was a surreal experience though - went to watch the midnight screen along with Lance and Tim and we felt like geeks amongst the so many fellow geeks there...it was surprising to see a house full. I am still recovering from last night - it was 2.45 AM when we came back home and I couldn't go to sleep after the movie. It was a really cool movie and almost everyone was perfect in their roles and the pacing of the movie was awesome. I am almost tempted to go and watch it again but I will try and control the temptation.

We did not get into the finals of the netball game and we did not get into the finals of NZ Screen Awards - both of which combined was a bit of a setback but I think I have tidied over the disappointment over both. My finger is still broken and I made myself my own splinter, so that the finger doesn't go crooked {which it was starting to}..so have to see if I can play this weekend's match for the 3rd and 4th position.

One of the EPK projects has been confirmed and it is for a digital feature while still waiting to hear back from the unit publicist of the budgeted feature film. So thats another thing which has moved forward. Tomorrow is the last day of term-2 and then the 'holidays' begin for the students.

At this point, am really tired and my mind is telling me to go to sleep and i think my body is agreeing with it. So will be signing off for now.
