The wait

Patience is a virtue and the strength to be patient is even more of a test. This is the time for waiting and being patient with 'Memories'.. Waiting to see if the movie gets into more film festivals, waiting to see if the local and international distribution deals go through, waiting is the key word. I wonder if every first time film maker goes through the same process and the waiting process. It is definitely nerve wracking for the most part and you can't really start thinking about your next project with your whole heart and mind when there is this small thing at the back of your head which keeps telling you that the project is not really complete till the movie finds distribution. Hopefully I will get to know of the distribution part within the next couple of weeks and with the festivals -can't really do anything about them -they will take their own course.

The past 3 days have just flown by at such alarming rate - meetings, paperwork, liasioning taking most of the time. I must say that it has been extremely productive. Luckily - Friday has been declared as a 'no work' day by the school -which means only one thing: a long weekend. I am so looking forward to it.
