Infernal Affairs

Infernal affairs is one helluva a movie and can totally understand why americans feel such a compulsive need to remake it. It is a tightly wound thriller only let down by thte bad choice of music {according to my tastes}...You can check out the trailer HERE. Nice acting and a compulsive script combined with fantastic camerawork and action.. I would highly recommend it.

I am feeling shattered right now but will just make a small trip to the gym, so that I don't upset my bodyclock by falling asleep now.

I had a meeting with the CEO of the record label for whom I am supposed to make the video. It went really well and the record label wants us to do the music video based on the only music video we did and ofcourse the movie trailer for 'memories'. I just have to draw up a fresh proposal on ideas for the vid. I also talked to Gina and she has agreed for us to have her music video on the NZ/Australia DVD.

Yesterday afternoon on was spent setting up the workplace for the education fair 'Fresh Ed' and only got freed up around 6.30 PM only to hit peak hour traffic back - which meant an hour and half driving time. I had to go back to school to sort out some more footage for vox pops because it would have been virtually impossible to digitize that footage one by one onto each of the emacs - which we got as a loan from Apple Computers. So digitized onto avid and then exported it out as a quicktime file. By the time I got back home it was 10.00 and instead of failing straight back to sleep, I watched Infernal Affairs.

Today morning- I got to Manukau by 7.30 and bumped into David Coddington at McDonalds and thats where I learnt about the London bombings - what a shocker. It did take a good 20-30 minutes for the shock to wear off. Today's session at FreshEd was fun and tiring at the same time. The turnout was great and it was fun seeing the students taking workshops for the visitors so competently. The afternoon did ease off on us though.

Anyway - i could end up babbling for a long time. Got to go for now.

Just got it in the mail a day or two ago, unfortunately I immediately had to leave for Las Vegas but will watch it upon my return. Thanks so much. Of course the customs department opened the package so we both might have a file in the CIA. Thanks, I will email you and vote as soon as I watch it.
