Blah!

The comics I have read over the past few days -
Tomorrow’s Knights: Dense but enjoyable mini-series. The premise is interesting and some aspects could happen 50-75 years into the future. We are already moving towards a unified global privatisation.
The Naaz: Completely takes you by surprise with it’s story, its treatment and implementation. A good read if you can get your hands on it.
M: Mini-series based on Fritz Lang’s classic 1931 movie of the same name. Exceptional…no..rather otherworldly art work in the book which draws you into that experience.
The Prisoner: A sequel to a TV series called ‘The Village’ and again I was surprised by both the story as well as the art work. {I stand corrected: the T.V series was also called 'The Prisoner' and the book is titled as 'Shattered Visage'}

The movies I have seen over the past few days -
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Much better than the first two movies in the series but still not really my cup of tea.
Mississippi Burning: I hadn’t seen this before and was drawn into the movie straight away.
Sideways: Funny, gentle paced and great mood/atmosphere but still can’t understand as to why it got nominated for 5 Oscars.
Finding Neverland: A lovely heart warming/wrenching story that takes you into a whole new state of emotions and feelings. Extremely well made. A must watch.
Serenity: I managed to get tickets to the advanced screening as I couldn’t wait for another 20 days for the wide release. I have to see it again because the sound on megascreen sucked and completely killed the audio sensory experience. Overall I liked the story but the assassin character didn't quite work into the storyline - it was much weaker than the one in the last episode of the series, "Objects in Space".

Movies next in line to watch -
'Napolean Dynamite' & 'Kinsey'.

Someone to strangle-
Whoever is trying to ring me from abroad at 3.30-4.00 A.M. NZT, without caring to check the time difference and waking me up so early in the morning- giving me 3 sleepless nights to date.

Someone to laugh at -

Myself

um. the t.v. series was also called 'The Prisoner', which took place in The Village.
