From Hell
I finished reading 'From Hell' by Alan Moore and it was a really dense read and there are parts where you cringe at the thought of looking at the next frame. The movie adaptation starring Johnny Depp and Heather Graham was absolute trash compared to the graphic novel. I don't think I will read it again - too painful. The other graphic novel I finished today was 'The Last American' - which was depressing to read because it shows a reality that could be possible.The book I have started reading now is 'Sound Recording & Reproduction' by Glyn Alkin - which is an interesting read. I would recommend it to anyone interested in sound, which incidentally seems to be an area which is usually neglected in the overall scheme of the camera, lighting, audio department.

Damn, but you got through that quickly! I know what you mean about it - I don't think I'll be reading it again either. But it is brilliant compared to the film.
