Arrested Development
I started watching 'Arrested Development' and ended up sitting through 6 episodes in one go. It is a hilarious TV serious. It is cleverly written and is totally unpredicatable. I can't wait to finish the rest of Season-1 DVD's that I have.Had a get together with the new lot of international students, who will be doing the course this year. An interesting bunch again with people coming from countries as varied as Mongolia, Scotland, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, India to name a few. It is a bigger batch of international students this year and it is exciting. The course starts this Tuesday and it is always an exciting feeling, knowing that a new lot of students will try and reach for their dreams of working in film and tv.
With the casting process - got a few responses from actors agencies and it is encouraging. The process frightens me because it is so critical to the movie - wrong casting can lead to a disaster. Add to it my audition technique is kind of unconventional and does not follow the norm, so have to see how the actors agents react to it.
Got an early morning tomorrow...should be fun...will get to see more of north island tomorrow. Will post pics once I come back.
Adios,
Amit
