Ouch!!!
Yep...very ouch.. My car is now all silent and brakes nicely (feels kind of unnatural after all the noises that I got used to) but I think I will now be on rice and noodles for a few months so that I can pay off the repairs. The final amount came to a little more than originally intended because some more parts had to be used, as it is an old model. I think I am beyond shock or caring.Most of the food in NZ is bland and being rainy and all- I cooked myself some extra hot nandos chilli chicken. And man was it hot...i should have known that when it said it was extra hot it was gonna be extra hot. (:-) Let us just say that I can still feel the heat.

UPDATE - I finished watching the first season of 'Arrested Development' - all the 22 episodes and it is an awesome TV series. I can't wait for the second season to come out on DVD - i mean it is already out but the video store hasn't got those DVD's yet.
