I just sat down and watched NEWS and it was depressing to say the least. Depleting natural forests across the world (with the cover as low as 3% in Europe), increasing gas prices, water crisis across NZ - leading to electricity crisis in the winters to name just a few.


I managed to clean up most of my room and the amount of trash which came out was amazing. I went through quite a few used CD's and DVD's and cleaned those out. An interesting indie movie that I bumped across on the net is 'Brick' - the trailer looks interesting. I hope that it gets to NZ somehow. The estimated budget of that movie is US$ 500,000 and has generated enough publicity to earn US$ 87,200 (approx.) from 2 theatres over it's first weekend.

I hope we don't destroy the planet and then regret it.
