Shock treatment
I got 2 quick shocks over the past couple of days - one was not such a big shock and the other a bigger shock than I expected. Greg - one of my flatmates is moving to Christchurch and Tim- my other flatmate is getting married over christmas this year. The marriage news was the big shock because of various reasons I refuse to discuss here.I haven't shaved for a week because of the cold spell and it feels itchy as hell. I will definitely have a shave tomorrow. Anyway here are the pics of my slippers - it turns out that they look more like dogs than gorrillas :-) I am not sure about them anymore - except for the fact that they are really nice and warm.
'Goodbye Lenin' is supposed to be a masterpiece of a movie but it isn't so. I mean the SFX are really well realized - achieving the look and feel of East Germany/West Germany in 1989 but somehow the movie is not as funny as everyone says. The story is clever and the situations are funny but I would say the movie is more about dark comedy with more drama rather than a light hearted comedy. You might still enjoy it heaps if you are in the mood for it.
