Screen grabs from Day-1

Here are some screen grabs from Day-1 shoot of 'Five'. The images are uncolor-corrected and no touch ups have been done, so the final product will look a lot better than what you see right now. Plus they are not necessarily the best screen grabs, I just picked them without going through all the footage. All the images are enlargeable so you can just click on them.

This weekend's filming would be a bigger challenge than the last one and looking forward to it.
Till later,
Amit

Screen grabs look great. Amit, a few questions:

DVX100?
Where's the awesome saturation coming from? Camera? Post?
Are you using any special lenses?
Do you capture sound to the camera or seperate audio device?

Thanks,
John

yeah shooting on 2 dvx100's
the images are untouched and are coming straight from the camera because we tweaked the scene file settings.
no special lenses -just the standard lens that DVX comes inbuilt with - used wide angle lens in a couple of shots.
we are capturing sound to the cameras instead of to a separate audio device

Thanks for the info. Although I loved your movie and your storytelling style most, I am kind of a sucker for the nuts and bolts of film making.

Thinking of jumping to HD (dvx200) on any future projects?
