Freeeeeeeezing

Well the weather has been dastardly over the past few weeks and we've had 2 good days of sun in the time. Not to complain or anything but it is frickin freezing right now because of the westerlies and being so close to Antarctica doesn't help the matters either. It's been rain, storm and thunderstorms all the way through and it doesn't look like it is improving anytime soon until Tuesday. My hot water bottle is my new best friend. :-)

I watched [REC] and it turned out to be a really good horror flick. It continues the tradition of handheld POV camera work started in Blair Witch Project and most recently used in Cloverfield but it knows it's limitations and really raises the bar up for such kind of movies and to top that off it provides some real genuine scares and there were moments that sent a chill up my spine. A recommended watch. I also watched Batman: Gotham Knight - it is a series of animated stories that link up Batman Begins to The Dark Knight. And man it is brilliant. Instead of being something that doesn't really add to whats happening - this truly intensifies the happenings in Gotham City and the toll it is taking on Batman. I can't wait for TDK now.
