Politics
Today I voted for the first time ever in my life. It was so simple and easy - it took all of 5 minutes to walk to the polling center (which was located right near our house), fill out the form and put my vote in and walk back. It was very unlike what I know of elections and voting as I knew it in India. The election results will be out later tonight or by tomorrow morning at the earliest and will get to know if we will have the same government or a new government. Either way I don't like discussing politics, so I'll leave the topic at that.Polaroid is a dying breed and the company has decided to stop making the film that is used in their instant film cameras. So I couldn't resist the temptation and bought myself a nifty second hand polaroid camera on a 'trademe' auction. Talk about being economical in times of economic crisis. :-)
'Burn After Reading' turned out to be a very enjoyable watch with excellent performances by all the players involved in the movie. Pretty dark humor but enjoyable nonetheless. . Last night was heaps of fun as I was invited along to a laser strike outing and I ended up top scoring in the 2 games we had. It was a bit of a surprise for me as well as my shooting skills are not the greatest but I am decent at running around. So my guess is that the running and shooting combined worked in my favor. :-)
That's me for now.
Till later,
Amit
