Superfast

Well - I was supposed to write an update late last week but I lost track of time and here I am with a brief update. Last friday I was invited to a wakeboarding trip by Dean and Lance and I decided to give it a go even though I have never done it before. It was a great day and the trip was awesome. It would be an understatement to say that I was a tad nervous [albeit excited] doing the whole thing since I have never really been in the ocean before but everyone on the trip was pretty supportive and helpful. I didn't get to wakeboard as I couldn't get up on the water but I did give it a good shot and hopefully in another 2-3 times of trying I might be able to do it. I am glad I did it.

Scary but exciting

Almost did it but not quite :-)

'What do you mean I can't lie there for rest of the trip?'

Happy to be alive

The shoot for the TV commercial has been postponed till later this weekend and I am excited. Other than that my acting classes workload has increased dramatically and most of the free time is going into staying on top of that. Besides that I watched an australian TV series called Underbelly - it is a good watch even though it still has the TV feel to it. The other series I am watching is Deadwood - which is brilliant. HBO does some awesome TV programming. Watched 'Quantum of Solace' last night and it was mildly disappointing - Daniel Craig is fantastic as Bond but the rest of the movie was pretty pointless.

The political unrest in Thailand and the recent bombings in India is a little worrying but here is hoping that things sort themselves out. 10 days to go and the trip is on.

That's me for now.
Till later,
Amit
