Long Weekend

Between the last blog entry and this one -it seems like ages that I have updated anyone on anything. Things had been hectic throughout the week. More paperwork for NZQA and then meeting with TV3's Head of editing on Wednesday. Had a get together with the international students on thursday evening at One Red Dog in Takapuna - which was a really cool party and the international bunch this year is really interesting again. During the day, also got a call from immigration and they have extended the work permit till the end of 2006 -which is cool as it takes weight of my mind. I will apply for PR as soon as my passport comes back.

Friday went into more paperwork, meetings and tidying things around school. We had to tell Triangle TV that we could no longer do the show because of resource constraints, especially in the light of the new batch of students starting off their year at South Seas. We will be doing 2 final shows the week after next to wrap up our commitment to Triangle, for which I then started locking down crew and making sure that things go fine when it comes to recording the shows.

Yesterday -i finally went and bought 'Understanding Comics' by Scott McCloud, which I had wanted to buy for a long time now. But before that we recorded ADR with Richard for John's character and it was really fun and Benji did a fantastic recording setup with the resources we had. It took us half the day to get the ADR's done and then went into the city to get the books. Also brought couple of magazines, so that I can subscribe to them -one of them,'DV' had fantastic articles -one of which was aspect ratios and methods of making DVD's for different aspect ratios. Had a meeting with Alastair, later in the evening, as he has agreed to do opening and end credits for the movie. Watched the opening and the ending of the movie on the big screen and it looks nice. I came home on friday night and had re-encoded the DVD with VBR instead of CBR and also increased the data rate, which made the encode work much better... took whole of Friday night but the result was really pleasing.

Later in the evening yesterday, went to Lillian's farewell party at the 'Loaded Hog' in Viaduct. Lillian was one of last year's editing graduates and she was going back to Switzerland because her student visa was about to expire. It was really cool year and there was no way I could have missed that party, even though I don't really like parties that much.

Today is going to be a relaxing day, as I don't plan to do much at all -maybe do my cloths and maybe edit the trailer for the movie - but nothing concrete. Tomorrow -we will be doing ADR with Rachel - which would get the major chunk of the ADR's done.It is unbelievable how times passes so quick. A whole month just flew by.

Ahh...and about the newspaper article which was supposed to come out last week has been put off till next week because the newspaper felt that it would be better in a bigger edition than the last one. So this week -both the articles will be printed. Waiting for them to come out, to see what angles they have presented from the story.

Anyway - I better get back to lazing around today.

Paperwork

I am just feeling totally exhausted as I am barely able to type out this blog. Finally got my room cleaned on Sunday and i can now walk in the room without tripping over or crushing something. Most of Sunday was done just chilling out and now it tuesday. Feels funny that days just fly by.

Yesterday and today seem to have merged into one - all I can remember is paperwork and meetings at school and another important meeting at SKY TV -which turned out well. I think I will keep this update real short and try writing when my brain passes enough signals to tell my fingers to type.

Interview and Alexander

Friday was exciting and damn hot. As I was saying in the last post - Amanda agreed to do a story on us and the movie and it happened on Friday, when she came along with Kelly -who photographed me for the article. It was exciting as it will be the first piece of press which will be printed. If all goes well, the issue will come out coming Wednesday - am waiting eagerly as I don't know what angle Amanda is gonna take for the story. I will put it up on the website once i scan the article in. The print after that would be the article in Indian Newslink - which will come out on 1st Feb. Friday was so hot that I had to come home and have a shower to cool down.

Since my backpack was stolen and my only inhaler was in it - I was a little bit unsettled because I could sense that I would need it because of the heat, which usually triggers asthma sometimes. Greg, my flatmate was generous and gave me one of his puffs. Today I went and picked up the package which mom and dad sent back with one of the people who had taken a trip to India and it was perfect timing as i got some inhalers sent back and a couple of T-shirts which are absolutely fantastic.

I also went to Cherry Bomb Comics and got some comics. A special thanks goes out to Mellisa and Tui, who showed me around the books and also agreed to put up 2 of our promotional posters up at the shop. It is really cool of them to make that kind gesture. I bought 2 comics after a long long time and I am also interested in another comic - which i will probably buy next week. Found a really cool Indian place to eat - it is miles away but will make a special trip for that sometime.

Had a chat with Jamie in the evening and it was exciting because he is the first person who has seen the movie, not having been involved in any production work till now and he thinks the story works too...which is really cool...he is now moving it onto colour grading and specialFX and it is a thrill seeing so many talents being poured into the movie to make this a worthwhile effort. Music is falling into place and it is really exciting, seeing the movie coming together. The joy and feeling can be hardly expressed or put into words, however hard I try.

Helped Benji shift over to a new place, which is in Beach Haven. Also saw 'Alexander' and it was OK. Some fantastic moments and the movie does keep a grip on you but overall it still does not come off as a strong movie because of some inherent pacing/story structure problems. But the vision of the director is simply fantastic. It does have an epic feel and the performances by Val Kilmer as well as Colin Farrell are definitely high points of the movie. And the best thing of all was seeing the the image of horse clashing against elephant - a vision which had been stamped in my memory from childhood, while reading the Amar Chitra Katha comics on Alexander.

Top on my 'to do' list is to clean up my room. :-) with that thought i am off to bed.
cheers

Long Days, Short Days

The days are growing longer -literally but my days seem to be growing shorter. The amount of work which is going on at school means that time just flies by - and it is a great feeling that you are engrossed so much in work that time becomes a relative concept, as it should be. The most exciting thing was me emailing Chris Plummer, the editor of 'In My Father's Den' and asking him if he could spare some of his precious time to share his knowledge and experiences with the new batch of South Seas students and Chris agreeing to the guest lecture. I am beyond thrilled because i emailed him out of the blue, without actually knowing him or anyone connected to him, and wasn't expecting to hear back because of the heavy time schedules which run in film and television. But I guess this is New Zealand and normal rules do not apply. :-) It would be a fascinating lecture and I can't wait for it.

I also emailed THE AUCKLANDER if they would like to do a story on our film and our independent efforts and Amanda from the North Shore edition got back and was keen on it. So she will be coming over on Friday to do the interview. It only means more publicity for the movie - which I am thrilled about.

Time at school obviously is going into paperwork for NZQA. And man, it is tiring and mind boggling - how do you put such a practical course like what South Seas does over the 1 year and how do you equate the extraordinary number of hours that every member of staff and admin pours into the course. More of my time is also going into building up industry liasions and got couple of important meetings lined up for next week. Lucas is helping out with the 4 week course which is a huge help and takes off a lot of weight of my mind as it gives me time to carry on with the already heavy workload and obviously the occasional emergencies which come up along with the usual job stuff. Like today, had to rush off to Triangle TV to solve a small technical problem with the editing suite. Today, my backpack also took a hike on its own or someone took it -which was mighty strange because there was nothing in my backpack except papers and my inhaler. I hope they return it back.

Just got back from getting some dinner at KFC and the girl at the counter was wonderful. She just gave me a double serving of everything I ordered, it feels nice and surprising that anyone would do that, as I was saying NZ is a real exception. Sometimes people don't realize what a wonderful country they are living in.

The idea for the next movie is solidfying more and more and I am gonna experiment with some themes set in a unique environment. Doing some research on the themes as I don't want to be ignorant about the different aspects of the theme and provide a cliched and stupid potrayal of it. What themes? What genre? Well i guess I will keep it to myself for now. Am off for now.

Ciao,

Fine Art of Chop Sticks

Chop sticks are such a puzzling invention that everytime I get into a situation where I have to use them, I can't help but wonder about them. I wonder who started using chop sticks in the first place and how did they come up with this ingenious idea of using two thin sticks to pick up food to transfer to the mouth.

There is this fantastic Japanese outlet situated in glenfield mall, which makes this fantastic teriyaki chicken as well as creamy chicken...the catch is that since it is a japanese place they don't have any spoons, all you have is chop sticks and thats the only way to enjoy the food.... i can't seem to break the chop sticks evenly and always end up with uneven chop sticks and then ofcourse the issue of using them... I think I have gotten much better at it than before but for some strange reason -i feel less hungry while eating with chopsticks rather than with a spoon. I wonder if it is because of the intense focus on getting the food into your mouth using the chop sticks...anyway i can go round and round in circles, but what i wanted to ask was that if anyone knew about the origin of chop sticks and who designed them the way they are and stuff - would love to hear about that.

Has been a relaxing day - did my laundry, had an important meeting for future projects and have been slacking off the rest of the time. I did run into Jamie and Matt and passed on the external hard disc to them, so that they can start work on special effects and colour grading... whats planned for tomorrow - lots of things. will update u when it happens.

Possible meetings and interviews

Pheww....what a week it has been again - just flew past. Finally managed to finish typing out the interview for a singaopre based magazine and emailed it to them. I'll let you know when it comes out and will see if I can get a scanned copy of the article to post on the website. I also talked to India Newslink - a major indian newspaper publication based in Auckland and they were keen to do an article on the film as well- which is great as it would mean much needed publicity to get the film out into the public. I will be meeting the editor on Monday and they are planning to print that article in the 1st half of feb. I have been trying to push the same to other places as well and am waiting to hear back from them.

I had contacted Panasonic NZ before we started shooting the movie to see if they would help us out by sponsoring us, especially since we are the first digital feature shot completely on a DVX100a, but had got dismal response from them and it was not only disappointing but also made me angry as to how a company could turn a complete blind eye to a marketing opportunity. I thought well - since we are now finishing off the movie and the response to it has been pleasently positive, I would try them again and see if they still wanted to have anything to do with the film at all. I did get a response back from them and it was positive as well, so I will be meeting the main guy there towards the end of feb as he is away till then. So hopefully, panasonic will help us in some way or another in getting the film out or possibly in promotion.

I have posted frame grabs from the movie at dvxuser.com and you can see them by clicking on the links here:

SCREEN GRABS -1

SCREEN GRABS -2

I have meeting with one of the local distributors in february and it would be interesting to see what comes out of those discussions. With the way the movie is shaping up, I am quietly confident that people will sit up and take notice of the film. Benji has done an excellent job in shaping up the film the way it is and is currently working on audio post production. Will be giving off the external hard drive to Jamie and Matt, so that they can work on the specialFX and colour grading. Next in line is also doing ADR's with the actors for a couple of scenes and re-recording the voice overs.

I am seem to be getting slightly better at playing pool...i am terrible at it but on one of the days i had a lucky streak and from then on i seem to be able to atleast pot the balls properly. Lance, Benji and me went and played cut throat and it was fun. Lance is fantastic at pool, so Benji and me ganged up against him and made his stay on the pool table frustrating...it was so much fun.

Have been seeing some of last years students drop in - on and off. Sam has got a job at Prime TV -which is fantastic, especially at this point in the year where the companies are just getting back into the swing of things. But the week has been so busy that haven't really had the time to stop and talk to any of them. And I am also looking forward to next week -where I will get back into teaching mode, teaching a small group of international students who are currently doing the 4 week course. Plus have more maintenance work to do in post, before the next year starts. Overall, a fantastic time just getting into the flow of things.

I think i will stop now or I will keep rambling on and on and on.

Back on track

Finally back on track with the movie. Matt fixed the disk crash problem, it took 2 full days to recover the data and fix the drive but the wait was worth it. It forced us to take a break, which gave us time to discuss stuff over and I also used that time to chalk out list of special effects, credits and stuff which we would be needing during the onlining process. So we are now officially onlining the movie.

The school reopened on Monday and it has been hectic –with finishing off last year’s paperwork and also doing paperwork for post production department to get diploma status to the course. Most of the top priority things are complete and now getting onto the second rung of priorities to sort out. Exciting things are happening at the school and I am really looking forward to the year ahead.

Today is my day for a fast and am feeling a little bit sluggish, more so because it is a fantastic day outside. I usually fast one day every month as it helps clean up the body toxins – lots of fluids intake {no..you can’t count alcohol as fluids in this case}helps clean the body.

Met Dan yesterday and saw his son, Isaiah for the first time and he is so cute. And again, he is a really quite baby. What is it with new babies –they don’t create the fuss that we used to create? Heeeheee.. Just kidding – I am sure that they do.

Well, as I said I am feeling a little sluggish right now and will see if I can write a longer update later on. Bye for now.

The Motorcycle Diaries

Just back from watching 'The Motorcycle Diaries'. It was simply superb - a movie based on the journals of Che Guevara, leader of the Cuban Revolution and it does not touch any political issues - all it touches is human emotions and growth. Absolutely loved the cinematography as well as the pacing. The acting from both Gael García Bernal and Rodrigo De la Serna was fantastic - you could feel what the characters were going through. The amazing thing with the movie was that it was actually shot chronologically, in sequence and actually retraced the exact path that Che and Alberto, took over 50 years ago, over all those countries. The production notes on the website are just magic and inspiring. You got to check out the official website.

After watching the movie - I am seriously inspired to do the next project on film instead of DV or HD, even though I am a great fan of the digital revolution but then it again depends on the funding and the kind of project it is - no point in doing a project on film if it is suited more to HD. I came back and did research on Che Guevara and I think I would like to share this link with you. This is a TIME Magazine article. Click HERE to read it.

We have run ourselves aground temporarily on the movie - technical hiccups continue and Matt is recovering the data from the crashed hard disk as we speak. Avid Pro has also got some major flaws which we encountered and as Benji puts it, almost makes you convert to Final Cut Pro. Tried posting on the avid forums but half the people who were replying do not know what they are talking about, only one person gave us a sane answer and knew what he was talking about. And talking to Jamie definitely helped the most because it helped us understand where the problem was, otherwise both Benji and me were going mad. We will get back to resynching the film on Monday once the hard disk is recovered.

Anyway, nothing much to write for now.

Uprezing

Yesterday and today have been spent redigitizing the movie on a higher resolution. The offline edit was 28:1 rez and we are now getting back to DV420 resolution, so that we can start sharing files between different people involved with post production, ranging from colour grading to special efffects to graphics and obviously audio {though audio is already full rez even at 28:1}. It has been an interesting challenge, more so because the time code on the tapes seems to have gone out of synch with the time code we have on the timeline. Technically, it is hard to comprehend and should not happen - the only reason i can think of is a software bug or something. It is good that we are a couple of days ahead of schedule because now it will take us that extra amount of time to fix this unexpected challenge. I think we will uprez the movie to normal resolution, just in time in accordance with our original schedule.

The pics gallery is working and managed to upload the pics onto the server after several headaches and emailing Brett, who got it working as usual. The pics from the trip to Motuihe Island are located
here. The one thing I forgot to mention in my other post was that when I was lying alone on the beach, enjoying the breeze and the seclusion from everything, I saw 2 aeroplanes - one a commercial airline and the other a small glider, nearly collide with each other. I would say that it was lucky that they did not hit each other because i think that the vertical distance between them while passing each other was less that 50 meters.. from the beach it looked as if they would definitely collide. I think the smaller aircraft made a last minute adjustment to avoid the crash. That was scary. And today, in the newspaper was an article that a private boat and a ferry collided in the straits near Motuihe Island...Read it here. What carelessness...

I have a vague concept of what I want to make as the next movie. I think I will start jotting down ideas and see where it leads. Have a couple of interesting ideas for some characters and since I want the genre to be 'sci-fi' it should be fun to see what happens. The other movie I really want to make is "Warren Hastings' Bull", a story i so absolutely love. The story was written by Uday uncle, with whom I worked for a couple of years when in India. He was the person who gave me my first break into media. The story was converted into a theatre play and has been performed by a leading theatre group in Delhi and was a commercial success, and after seeing the play I was so moved that I started translating the story from hindi to english and that lead to more short stories being translated. And one of the leading book publishers in India, Katha, compiled those short stories and printed it out as a book. And to have my name in the same breath as Bob chacha ji {Robert A. Hueckstedt - a world renowned translator} and Uday uncle {a tour de force in hindi literature} was not only a dream come true but an honour beyond all imagination. The magic of 'Warren Hastings' Bull' lies in its intricate sub structure and plot and the way it deals with so many issues at the same time while still retaining the facade of a normal story. The idea would be definitely to see if I can raise any money towards making that first. As a second option, I would love to make another digital feature to convince investors on my ability to handle feature length projects. Either way, I will give it my all to bring "Warren Hastings' Bull" alive onto the screens.

Anyway, enough dreaming for now. I think I will get back to work and make some more reality happen.

Happy New Year with the tree climbing bull

This is to wish anyone reading this post a very happy and prosperous New Year. May it bring joy and success.

What an exciting way to start off a New Year. Lance came up with the idea to go to a small and secluded island to spend couple of days away from the civilization, never did any of us expect to be the only ones camping on an island nor imagine ourselves being mobbed by a field full of bulls {one of which even tried climbing the tree}.

Benji and I really needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the editing for a while, more so because we kept ahead of our schedule and finished the second fine cut of the movie –a week in advance. So Lance’s offer to spend the time away from the city was a fantastic idea.

On 30th December, 2004 – the prospect of going away wasn’t looking too exciting as it had been pouring down for the past few days and it was turning out to be a soggy summer. We recorded most of the voice over work from Richard and later on in the evening I edited a trailer for David Coddington’s short film ‘Punawai. Talked to Lance later in the night and we decided to go ahead with the plan to go camping on the island even if the weather was rough. And boy, what a vacation it turned out to be.

Since the weather forecast said that a bad storm was gonna hit the islands, most people who were already there on the isand, packed up and left. Lance’s parents agreed to drop us off on the island and it was really exciting waiting to go ahead. Everything packed, we left for the island but as soon as we came out of harbour, we saw a bunch of hippies foolishly run their ship aground into the sand in the middle of the sea. Lance’s dad turned around and tried to help but because our boat was bigger, we could not get too close. Luckily, a smaller boat turned up and took over the project of making the hippies ship float {turned out that the hippies did spend the rest of the day and the night of new year – half drowned in their ship, waiting for the high tide to free their ship} and we were on our way.

When we arrived at the island, there were quite a few people, who were enjoying the island. But since no one was staying for the night, we got to pick any spot we wanted to pitch our tent. We got the best spot in the island and I also learnt for the first time ever on how to setup your tent. Indians aren’t exactly outdoor people and going camping is a rare thing, so I was happy to be initiated into the camping ritual.

Lance and Benji after setting up the tent and the rain covered sitting area.

The island is called ‘Motuihe Island’ and it used to be used for many things in the past like a children’s welfare camp, an outpost for treating people infected with influenza, a WW I prison camp, a WW II naval base and more; now it is a secluded beach which is under the protection of ‘Department of Conservation’ – I might be missing some information or some of it might be flawed but that’s all the technical part I can remember. Benji, Lance and me went exploring to the northern part of the island and by the time we came back the beach was empty –most of the people had left. It was lovely having the beach all to ourselves. All of us had quite a few rounds of ‘King of the Hill’ – the result was that Benji was definitely the winner because neither me or Lance could displace him. We later on tried creating another shelter where we could sit when it was raining. The attempt was alright but kind of uncomfortable because of the low ceiling of the tarp. The rest of the evening and night was spent walking on the beaches, having drinks and just chatting and singing.

Me and Benji lazing under the tree

Lance trying to push Benji off to become 'King of the Hill'

It is surprising –how much life gets simplified when there is no technology around you and when you are living with the nature. One of the easiest ways to tell/guess time was by seeing the ferry {which contained supermodels according to Lance and which became a constant joke amongst us} go to and fro Waiheke Island every hour. I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I could not get myself to stay awake till 12’00 at night when it was officially the onset of 2005. I crashed into the tent and the next thing I remember is waking up at 8.30 the next morning because of the heat which the tent kept getting from the sun. The first thought I had was – “Damn, I missed the new year”, the second thought I had was “So much for the weather forecast” because it had only drizzled for about 10 minutes and that was it.

It was at that point that I also realized that last year at the same point, I had made a decision to make a movie this year and had started scripting ‘Memories of Tomorrow’ and here I was an year later, vacationing on this beautiful island with my friends who also happened to be DoP and editor on the film, nearing the last stages of finishing off the movie. Last year, I made a resolution that within the year I will finish shooting my first feature and not only did we finish shooting it within the year but also managed to get a fair amount of post production process done as well. I am excited and feel lucky that I am surrounded by such wonderful people and team who made this project a reality and worked towards making this dream possible.

The 1st day of the New Year was eventful and adventurous – there is no better way that this year could have started off. The day began with another round of ‘King of the Hill’ but this time the difference was that it was an equal fight amongst all of us. I managed to push Benji off for the first time and after that it was an even match. Played some freesbie around and lazed around. There was a big tent which was setup the night before and we kept wondering what it was for. It looked as if there was a big party which was gonna happen there or something.

Me trying to push Benji off to become 'K O T H'

Lazing around the beautiful island

Since we were at the northern end of the island, we decided that all of us would trek to the southern end of the island, which was called ‘Bald Knob’ – rude but hey that’s its name. I guess it was named so because it is the only part of the island which does not have any trees towards the cliff end. Anyway, so we started trekking and after a good 15 minutes walk we found that it was another 35 minutes to the bald knob and at the same time we could see the rain clouds coming over. It poured down for 10 minutes and I got soaked because I could not remember where I put my poncho – a plastic bag. We took a break under a tree before we continued our walk.

Benji in his poncho and me, taking a break under the tree as it pours down

It seemed like forever especially trying to avoid all the cow dung. We came across fresh cow dung as well as a cow dung treatment plant and we were wondering why we couldn’t see any cows inspite of all that.

Benji and me continuing the trek towards Bald Knob

Lance and Benji take a moment's break

'Fellowship of the Bulls'

And then it happened. We walked across a paddock with lots of trees and as soon as we came up the hill, we saw heaps and heaps of cows. I was scared shitless – hadn’t seen that many cows in the open before. I kept asking Lance and Benji if they were sure that we would be safe and they wouldn’t attack us. They kept saying nah we will be fine and even made mooing sounds. We kept looking at them as they started standing up and looking at us. And then Lance said the magic words “They are not actually cows, they are bulls.” I went “Oh shit!” and Benji realized that the bulls were taking undue interest in our walking across the fields and we thought it would be a good idea to hide behind a tree for a while to see if they would forget us but they kept crowding up. Lance kept walking saying ‘it is alright, they are not gonna hurt us.’ And at that point Benji and me saw a bull stomping its leg and immediately thought it was a good idea to climb up the tree nearest to us. Lance kept taking photos and within a matter of minutes we were surrounded by about 20-25 bulls. We kept trying to tell Lance to create a diversion so that we could get away from there but Lance could not understand as to why we needed a diversion. The bulls started getting more and more eager and kept coming closer and closer to the tree we were hanging out at. Benji said “ Damn, got to make a move right away otherwise we will be up on the tree all night.” And he sneaked away carefully and as soon as he left the bulls came right under the tree and one of them started climbing the tree. I was scared shitless thinking bulls can’t possibly climb trees and out of desperation I yelled out ‘GO AWAY’ and strangely enough all the bulls simply walked away. It was very surreal and strange that so many bulls would simply walk away just like that on hearing those words. If you don't believe what I am saying then have a look at the photographs below {hi-res ones will be put up as soon as image gallery is repaired}

Lance and Benji on the Bald Knob

I took a deep sigh of relief and got down the tree and we walked down towards the bald knob giving out a big sigh of relief. It was fantastic going right from one end of the island to the other. The question now was – how do we get back with the field full of bulls again. I tried reasoning with Lance and Benji that we should jump fences and walk across the other fields to bypass the bulls but they kept going ahead, so I jumped across and walked parallel to them and the bulls as I was too weak hearted to go through another bull confrontation. It was tough walking across the fields because they were untrodden on. Benji and Lance had to jump across the fence as well as the bulls were covering the exit gate. Only after we got them out of our sight that I personally breathed a deep sigh of relief and still could not believe that we were chased by tree climbing bulls. I can think of no better way to start off a new year.

In the afternoon, there was a party for kids and during that time all we did was sit under our tree shelter and laze around. Benji suggested some structural changes and we implemented it and came up with a much better shelter, which gave us enough headroom and plenty of cover. It was great.

Benji and me enjoying the new structurally modified shelter

The kids left after a couple of hours and then there was silence again on the island. We played some more freesbie and lazed around in the grass looking at the open skies, talked more and had more drinks and sang more songs. Later in the evening there was another tour group which came in for a party at the same place. Bunch of American and Australian teenagers –whose parents are multi-millionaires. What a joke. Benji and me were laughing on how they did everything so American – talk so loud and be so stand offish. Lance took a couple of trips down to get us the info which I wrote above on who they were. I think I probably fell asleep about 10.30 and the next thing I remember is waking up at 6.00 in the morning.

The journey back was equally fun as it was eventful again. When we went to the beach around 10.00 when Lance’s parents came to pick us off the island, the wind was normal and the sea was calm but as soon as the boat came in, the water got really choppy and the current picked up quite a bit. I think that was the closest I got to getting sea sickness but not really. It was a slow and eventful journey but so much fun nevertheless.

And ever since then all I have done is have a good bath, done some shopping and had dinner and gearing up for the week ahead. A long update wasn’t it? Well I think I will take leave for now and update you more later. Having a little problem with the image gallery on the website, so can’t upload all the pics from the trip onto the website. Hopefully will get that sorted soon.

Bye for now,
Amit
